About the Author
Shelby Le Marquand is an author and teacher based in California. She has had a passion for writing since she wrote her first story in elementary school, which inspired her to subsequently earn a Bachelor’s Degree in English. Shelby enjoys creating stories that encapsulate the magic of love, friendship, and kindness that children would want to read each night. “Love Like Olive” is her debut children’s book, inspired by and in memory of her sweet dog, Olive. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends and family, reading books, and daydreaming about a million new ideas. Shelby hopes to inspire young readers to feel empowered to make their world a better place!
About the Illustrator
Yenna M
ariana is an illustrator based in Jakarta. She picked up a pencil at 4 years old and thus began her journey in illustration. Growing up she would doodle everywhere, especially in her schoolbook. Yenna has had the opportunity to collaborate on various children's projects such as animated series, short films, and picture books. She usually works digitally and loves to use bright colors in her illustrations. In her free time, she loves to find new places to eat, travel, and photographs the clouds.
